Distribution:

16,000 copies of the Good Morning News are distributed to over 1500 locations city wide twice per week, and reaches an audience of over 46,000 readers. The Good Morning News is a FREE publication, and is distributed to coffee shops, restaurants, hair salons, professional offices, and anywhere else where people are inclined to read and be entertained by light-hearted and informative content, such as our famous “Joke of the Day”, “On This Date in History”, and games like Sudoku & crossword puzzles.

 

The City of Calgary and surrounding area is divided into 7 districts, which allows advertisers to strategically reach more targeted demographics, as well as specifically target areas in the city most likely to drive business to purchase their products or services.

 

District 1 (Calgary North-West) – North of the Bow River, East to Deerfoot Trail, 16th Ave is southern border

District 2 (Calgary North-East) – East of Deerfoot Trail, southern border is Peigan Trail

District 3 (Calgary West) – South of Bow River to Glenmore Trail with Crowchild Trail as Eastern border

District 4 (Calgary South-East) – East of MacLeod Trail, south of Peigan Trail

District 5 (Calgary South-West) – West of MacLeod Trail, Glenmore Trail

District 6 (Calgary Central and Uptown) – Central Calgary 16th Ave N to 17th Ave S, Crowchild to Deerfoot

District 7 Airdrie, Balzac, & Crossfield

 

Demographics:

Over 50% of the readership of the Good Morning News is comprised of 25 to 44 year olds

Over 53% have post secondary education

Over 29% earn an income of more than $40,000 per year

Equal parts of our readership are male and female
